DURIANS!!!
sorry, i had to put a fake pic cos i didnt have enough self-control to take a pic before eating.
anyway, the durian has been the love of my life since... i dunno when. i guess i was influenced by my dad and mama and grandparents so very long ago. i will never ever wince at the opportunity to have some =D
after lunch, my dad and i bought four D something durians (dont ask me what's D21 or D42 or D whatever. i just eat) and brought them to my grandma's place to eat.
now my dad has plans to buy a farm and plant durian trees. haha

i accomplished so much today!
i finished reading 2 books - Confessions of a Shopaholic by Sophie Kinsella (yes, the movie) and Quentins by Maeve Binchy (borrowed from my friend about 2 yrs back)
and ive another 3 more books to finish before this saturday cos ive to return the books, 7 in total, to him.
anyway, samuel's out of camp for the whole day tmr. what shall we do?...

the food, the fireworks, and the gossip
Potluck and watching fireworks with my choir friends...
First of all, my Stef's Toasted Focaccia (pronounced for-kat-chia) Sandwich was sold out! All my hard work (and sweat) did not go to waste. Sorry, no pictures but mayb i'll grab from my friend if she uploads.
My friends prepared other food like cheesecake (sinfully good), beehoon (fried with love and inner fire), sausage wrapped with roti prata, fruit salad, bacon with sausage and enoka mushroom (smth like that), drinks, tidbits. All very yummy too!!
Overall, it was a very delicious meal. Plus, there were fireworks at 830pm too!! The fireworks were very very good!! We didnt expect it to be that good. We were all pleasantly surprised from the 11 storey of block 302 in Yishun =D
Meanwhile, I shall start researching for new food to bring to our next potluck.

Stef's Toasted Focaccia Sandwich for tomorrow's potluck with my wild empire friends. Yes stef, i named it after u cos u were the one who taught me how to do it.
Ingredients purchased just now:
Turkey ham (good quality ok! expensive stuff)
Cheese
Butterhead lettuce
Tomatoes
Garlic spread
Focaccia bread
Steps to make the perfect Stef's Toasted Focaccia Sandwich (what a mouthful!):
Slice Focaccia bread laterally into half
Spread garlic spread
Put turkey ham or any other ham
Put cheese
Put lettuce
Put tomato
Toast

the blood, the gore, and everything nice
today i watched Blood: The Last Vampire with stef.
what can i say? the title of the movie says it all. there was blood and nothing else. basically the last vampire, Saya, was on the search for the ultimate vampire, Onigen, who killed her father. Onigen turned out to be her mother and unleashed such fury in Saya that she killed Onigen (very easily). so, the end.
then we met gladys n bernard in town and went about discussing when to go for a trip to msia, bangkok, hongkong? im not sure now where we're gng or when we're gng.
anyway, lunch was interesting. i ordered Pork Stamina! hence resulting in my increase in stamina. haha, just kidding. it turned out to be pork belly.

i woke up this morning to the sound of my upstairs neighbour's skipping and the fear of my ceiling falling on me.
the rest of my day was filled with naruto, bleach, gossip girl and grey's anatomy.
this is life! haha
