my goodness, time flies
my last post was on wednesday. it is now sunday. so fast!
another chapter of my life is beginning and think i'm starting to feel a little excited about it.
oh well, i shall let u know how it goes on tuesday. until then, i shall enjoy my final day of holiday =)

time to perform
This week is performance week for me.
The choir (the Vocal Consort) that my choir (Wild Empire) is currently collaborating (smth like that. when we sing with them, we're collectively known as vocal consort) with has 2 performances this week. Yesterday we performed at the Esplanade, a first for me, for the Leong Yoon Pin concert (2 songs). Then on sunday, we'll be guest performing at Victoria Concert Hall (3 songs). Guess what? All our songs are in chinese. How exciting =D
This is so good for the slacker who's rotting at home aka me.
Ahh next tuesday! Barely one more week, 5 days to be exact.
No! I shouldn't count in days. Let's see..5 days x 24hrs x 60min x 60 sec = 432,000 secs. Am i even doing this correctly? My brain is rusty.
ok bye, I'm going to watch the taiwanese drama Pi(3) Zi(4) Ying(1) Xiong(2) aka Black & White.
Oh ya, i think i know why i'm still in choir after all these years. Despite multiple scoldings from ms ong and feeling sad about not singing up to standard, i know that i want to improve and i know that i can never easily leave this group of friends whom i have come to love so much.

August is not a happy month. Because September is next. Which means that I'm starting work soon :(
I think I'm supposed to feel excited because I've slacked for quite some time and finally I get to earn some money. BUT, I'm not. The thought of meeting new people (and those I already know) and talking to people makes me nervous. Sometimes I enjoy keeping to myself and being a loner. It takes great effort to look happy everyday and think of things to say to people. Oh well, it is part of being human right?
I cant say that August brings me only sadness and no happiness.
The stayover at Aroon's was fun. We played Bang! (a board game we bought for him for his bday) until 5.30am and woke up at 12pm to attend our malay friend's wedding. Stef, Emily and I took 1.5hrs to get ready and Aroon had to wait for us. Haha. Sorry Aroon :)

Then last night I meet up with Huiru, Chyeling, Vina, Lynette and late-comer Adeline at Ion Orchard. We ate at B3-23. Lousy food and pitiful waiters because they had to kneel to take our orders. The food was lousy but the company was great!
This morning, I had my first driving lesson. I am a nervous driver and uncle kept scolding me. It wasnt easy because uncle speaks very softly in chinese. Sometimes i cant hear him or understand what he's saying but he'll say that my nervousness results in my lack of hearing. BUT NVM, I will try harder next time.

tomato sauce and the spork
i had dinner with my Wild Empire friends at terminal 3 last night. we bought popeye's, sat like refugees on the viewing gallery floor and ate. very very fun.
ive a month of holidays left before i start work. aside from watching The Big Bang Theory, playing facebook games and preparing for the Leong Yoon Pin concert, maybe i'll be going to Batam with my friends, Bangkok with sam and Jakarta to visit mama.
