I had a interesting weekend!
Got to spend 4 days with these people already and it's getting more exciting.
Met the CARPENTER'S TOOLS INTERNATIONAL,
Met the CARPENTER'S TOOLS INTERNATIONAL,
an all American music team, all the way from USA!
Here's a little bit about the team!
(left from top)
Ernest Lam
Guitarist
18
A hands down, straight up, goofy Californian. He plays the acoustic and electric guitar and is in his 2nd year of college. Spanish speaking, Cantonese understanding, interested in anything music related, having deep conversations, meeting people, eating, sleeping, laughing, photographing, singing, drawing, admiring and breathing. We're speechless at the limitless options as to what you can do with him.
Nan Chen
Bass Guitarist
21
This future lawyer also plays the bass guitar, guitar, violin, clarinet, sousaphone and piano. Mandarin, Spanish and Korean speaking, he serves the homeless of Chicago through making and delivering food. Talk about a big heart. He also likes to eat and marvel at God's creations. Picnic at the Botanic Gardens, anyone?
Jason Zwart
Sound Tech
16
Jason Zwart, 16, is the youngest team member. A native from New York, he likes aviation and F1 racing. On his first time out of USA, he's excited to meet new people and try new things. Take him out for some fun-filled gravity ride down the Sentosa Luge!
Paul Vasilko
Drummer
24
Paul is from a rural part of Illinois, in the Midwestern portion of United States, but he's no country bumpkin. Having traveled to play music in places such as Guatemala and various places in Asia, Paul is now in Singapore for the very first time! A serious musician for the past 15 years and a concerned world citizen with a degree in Political Science, Paul takes the time out to just have fun with Ultimate Frisbee. Game, anyone?
Kyle Brons
Vocalist
19
Kyle sings and has been performing with a band in local shows back in Iowa. A serious musician, Kyle has studied music all through high school and has been singing in choirs for the past 6-7 years. His vocal skills are sure to impress so come check him out! You might want to let him experience some of our own local talents, like Project Superstar 2.
Brad Wynveen
Keyboardist
22
An accomplished pianist, Brad has been playing since 9. He's so good, he even plays at weddings. Brad also likes acting in theatre and drama performances. Why does Brad want to study Psychology and Criminal Justice, together with Music in university? Could it be his love for adventure? Help Brad in his latest adventure- his first time out of the USA :)
