life on shuffle
time passes the slowest from 830am to 930am.
then i get into the routine of staring at numbers and sorting papers.
time begins to pass faster.
i keep looking at my watch as if to countdown to lunch at 1230pm.
but the amt of paper work piles up and soon, i stop taking short glances at my watch.
lunch is always interesting.
i listen to my colleagues banter in chinese and ive recently joined in their crappy talk too.
me talking in chinese for the whole day? so unlike me.
also, i listen to 93.3 fm everyday.
not by choice.
time passes the fastest from 130pm to 530pm.
the 130pm to 330pm segment is when i feel like im in a trance. haha.
you know, the sleepy feeling we all get after eating.
530pm comes and the clock in the office sings a most wonderful tune.
seriously, it plays some tune to signify the end of work.
i leave my office while my colleagues say back to finish up their work.
poor things.
the only computer i get to use has a unix operating system. no microsoft means no msn and no internet. i constantly glance over at my colleague next to me and she's usually chatting on msn. poor me.
the closest i get to typing as if i were chatting on msn is when i use the typewriter.
alright, that's it about my working life.
my cousins naomie and rachel are coming frm switzwerland and australia respectively at the end of june. yay! i havent seen rachel in a long time and i bet they both have gotten really tall. mayb even taller than me. haha.
on saturday, i met up with some of my sec sch friends for dinner and clubbing subsequently.
andrew, aroon, darren, emily, kok siong, lok kwan, shirleen and stefanie.
dinner was exceptionally fun. i laughed so much and so hard. i really had a great time with them. we were talking about sec sch times and all the stupid things we did. we were so childish back then. we've all done much growing up these few years. oh how i miss sec sch days. we were all naive and childish and full of shit (not that we arent anymore).
clubbing at the cannery was alright. the music was alright but the company (stef, aroon, andrew, kok siong, darren) was great. i havent had such fun clubbing in a long time. in fact, i havent gone clubbing for a long time.
darren drove us home at top speed.
this is getting to be a rather long post. but considering that i havent posted in a long time, im excused.
my sch holiday is turning out to be alright. hello bintan! im coming really soon!
tmr will be fun cos i get to see sam aft work! i miss him like crazy.
i was skype-ing with my dad cos he wanted to test his new microphone and he said "what shall we talk about? let's talk about sam. your favourite topic." haha.
apron and pjs.
