just a short update before i leave for choir.
yesterday, dad brought grandpa, mama, krystal and me to jb for shopping. we went to a new shopping mall they just built. was it terbau or turbo or turban city? i cant rmb the name of the shopping centre. anyway, it looked so huge when we drove past. even the carpark was huge. but the shops were a disappointment. there was basically nth much, only some familiar imported brands like topshop, la senza, mac etc, which aft conversion, cost the same when buying in spore. i ended up not buying anything.
but dinner was good. we tried crab with some creamy, buttery gravy. very very yummy. my sis and i deduced that the gravy was made up of a combination of oats, cream, butter, some chilli and maybe some milk.
we ordered a tad too much and the crazy waiter kept saying one plate of a dish wasnt enough and insisted that we order 2. 1 was more than enough!
